Our Instructors & Staff Members
Our instructors have spent many years devoted to training in the art of Karate and other martial arts. They have attained a high level of expertise that qualifies them as teachers and also mentors.
Through extensive testing, certification, and tournament-level competition, our staff has attained mastery in the martial arts; they now enjoy sharing their skill and passing it on to their students.
Sam Pryor (Senior Staff Instructor)
Sensei Sam Pryor is our senior staff instructor. He is a third-degree black belt and an AAU certified referee. He has been training in karate since 1994.

John Suen (Team Coach/Instructor)
Dr. John Suen is a second-degree black belt and an AAU nationally certified coach. He is a national-level senior competitor and is the Head Coach of the FKA Competition Team. He has been training in karate since 1997.

Morgan Flinchum (Assistant Instructor)
Sensei Morgan Flinchum is a third-degree black belt and an AAU nationally certified coach. He is a USA Junior Team member and the 2006 Pan-American Kumite Champion in his division. He has been training in karate since 1996.

Jan Fraley (Assistant Instructor)
Sensei Jan Fraley is a second-degree black belt and an AAU nationally certified judge. She is a nationally ranked competitor and has been training in karate since 2000.
